Holbert was established in 1999 by Wayne Mukheibir (former Managing Director) and John Wilson (former director). In 2003, Boikanyo Holdings purchased 50% of Holbert Technical Solutions which then gave rise to Holbert Boikanyo Technologies. Since then Holbert has seen many changes and has continued to grow from strength to strength.
The most recent changes took place in 2009 when Mr. Phatwa Duncan Mbonyana purchased a 30% share of the Company. The Holbert Boikanyo Technologies shareholders decided that a change was required in order to grow on its year on year growth. In 2010, Holbert Boikanyo Technologies changed its name to Holbert Integrated Technologies following the successful 30% share sale to Mr. Phatwa Duncan Mbonyana.

Duncan Mbonyana
Duncan joins the Holbert team with a wealth of experience and knowledge. He has an extensive business background that has included security in his various portfolios. He holds a Graduate Degree in Theology from the University Of South Africa, MAP(WITS), Security Practice and Management (Group4,UK) and a Masters Degree in Business Administration(Brunel) from Henley Management College(UK). He has extensive experience in Security practice and management. Served as National Protective Services Manager in Eskom(1992-1997).He Further served as MD Eskom Enterprises Africa and finally as Managing Director Corporate(2007).

Bradley Bell
Bradley joined the security industry in 2002 in the United Kingdom, starting off in retail as a security officer and moving to corporate security after that. He was exposed to numerous high level training including anti terrorism, First Aid level 5 and Fire Warden level 5. He worked at HSBC Bank’s Head Office in Canary Wharf.
On his return to South Africa he joined Thorburn Security Solutions. He later worked his way up to Security Manager at Koeburg Nuclear Power Station. He met Garth Briggs at Thorburn and worked closely with him. He left Thorburn Security Solutions in 2005.
In 2007 he rejoined Garth Briggs at Holbert Boikanyo Technologies where he was appointed as the Business Development Manager. He later took over as caretaker Regional Manager which he has held until his permanent appointment as Regional Manager. In November 2009, Bradley was appointed as a Director.
Holbert Boikanyo Technologies has grown from strength to strength in Gauteng and the future looks bright with Bradley at the rains.
